Chris Allo's career at Marvel Entertainment spanned nearly ten years from Internship(2000)to Talent Management(2010). He assisted in managing hundreds of freelancers in various capacities.  He assisted in building the Brand Assurance department from the ground up.  He hosted and reviewed portfolios for visiting students from SCAD, RISD and did portfolio reviews at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art and The Society if Illustrators.

During conventions Chris gave full on portfolio reviews and critiques to hundreds of aspiring artists.  Chris has helped many artists still working in the biz today, get their first big breaks in the comic industry.  Khoi Pham, Harvey Tolibao, Nic Klein, Rafa  Sandoval, Jorge Molina, Paolo Pantalena, Jelena Djurdjevic, Gerald Parel, Frank Martin, Roy Martinez, Jay David Ramos and Marko Djurdjevic to name a few.

Some of Chris's career highlights include getting Skottie Young to do the art for the Wizard of Oz books. Convincing Arthur Suydam to do the Marvel Zombies covers.  Staffing interior and cover art for the Marvel Illustrated line with editor Ralph Macchio.  Getting to edit the Annual What if?! line of books for the first time with Editor, Justin Gabrie in 2008 and again 2009 And bringing Butch Guice and Adam Pollina back into mainstream comics after long absences.

Chris is currently a freelance consultant and art representative.  He tours conventions giving portfolio reviews and does panels as well as looking for the next generation of comic artists.
