Humberto Ramos

Artist - The Avengers, Champions, Amazing Spider-Man, Extraordinary X-Men, Cable, Deadpool, Wolverine 


Humberto Ramos has been drawing comics professionally since 1993, when he began at Milestone Media, before working on Impulse for DC Comic’s. In 1996, worked for Marvel Comics, and Wildstorm Productions, where in 1998, co-founded the imprint Cliffhanger with artists Joe Madureira and J. Scott Campbell, and released creator owned Crimson & Out There.

In 2003, Humberto worked on both Peter Parker and Spectacular Spider-Man for Marvel. In 2005, released creator owned Revelations through Dark Horse. In 2006, worked on Wolverine, New X-MenX-Men, and Runaways v3.  In 2011, Humberto released creator owned Fairy Quest Book 1, and later that year, Humberto started drawing everyone’s favorite web-head, Amazing Spider-Man.

Working on great stories “BIG TIME,” Spider-Island, Ends of the Earth, Alpha, Dying Wish. Jumping over to assist his Spidey team, he worked on the Superior Spider-Man series contributing 11 issues of work to that series. In 2014, Humberto re-launched the Amazing Spider-Man series, bringing the lovely Silk to the Marvel U. In 2016, Humberto worked on Extraordinary X-Men with writer Jeff Lemire, and later that same year, he started working with writer Mark Waid on Champions, where he penciled 18 issues. Currently, Humberto has completed 5 connecting variant covers for Amazing Spider-Man #797-801 and is penciling one of the stories for issue #800.
